28 attendees representing 24 organizations convened at the Chicago Literacy Alliance for an afternoon of learning, sharing and networking. (and wine drinking)
This training focused on giving community partners the tools to be successful in collaborating and provided shared language and definition to the collaborative process as a whole.
Below you will find the presentation utilized during the afternoon as well as the “resource sharing” information gained during our focus area, small group work.
If you are planning to collaborate with another organization, we encourage you to also go observe their program (and invite them observe yours). Seeing your work in action can not only be helpful in gaining an understanding of what you do, but is in itself a form of resource sharing from which a deeper collaboration can grow.
CIS of Chicago is also in a unique position to help connect partners to each other. If you are looking for a collaborative partner, reach out to your CIS of Chicago partnership specialist.
