CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT TRAINING IS HERE!
Wednesday, September 20 9am-12pm American Red Cross- Rauner Center
How do you get students engaged when they seem disinterested? What do you do when your class is louder than you’d like? What to do about the student that won’t stop throwing a pencil across the room?
This workshop will explore ways to positively engage students and develop an understanding of how your teaching style affects your classroom culture. Participants will walk away with new ideas to implement in their practice and ideas on how to disseminate the information they’ve gained to other members of their team.
We are excited to have Tamiko Nettles lead our training this year! Tamiko brings years of teaching and educational coaching experience.
Facilitators and program managers are invited to attend this training. Feel free to send to other members of your team that would like to join us.

Refining Your Elevator Pitch Training
Mark your calendars for this upcoming November where we will spend time examining best practices in communicating what you do, why you do it, and how to talk about it to different audiences. There will be some examination of your program values and time to practice speaking about your work in various mock settings. Keep an eye out here and in your inbox for an invitation coming soon!
